Children's Celebration

 

The First Night Raleigh Children’s Celebration will be held on December 31, 2007 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the North Carolina Museum of History, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and on the Bicentennial Plaza. Children 5 and under attend for free (accompanied by a button-wearing adult). Admission buttons are required for Adults and Children ages 6 and up.

“Simple Gifts”
World-renowned puppeteer Joseph Cashore has been designing and performing with his marionettes for more than 30 years. His shows celebrate life and engage audiences with their movement, colors, and themes.  Cashore has earned several awards, including a Citation of Excellence from UNIMA, the oldest international theater organization in the world.
Note:  This performance is recommended for adults and children ages 8 and up.
